Little Eden is situated in the forested and mountainous Mae Hong Son Province (Northwest Thailand). The Mae Hong Son Province borders Burma and has some of the most beautiful natural scenery in Thailand. There you will find huge limestone caves, spectacular waterfalls and an incredible mosaic of ethnic groups.

Little Eden is located in the Shan village Pangmapha (Soppong), at the bank of the Nam Lang River. Pangmapha is the trading and market centre of the Pangmapha district, which is situated between the Maehongson and Pai districts. The population is about 40% Burmese Shan, 40% hilltribe (mostly Lisu, Lahu and Karen), and 20% Thai.
In Pangmapha you will find a market, a supermarket, a pharmacy, a hospital, car and motorbyke repair shops and a gas filling station (closing at 18.00 o´clock). There are no banks or money changers, but you will find an ATM at the police station (about 1.5 km from the center, towards Mae Hong Son).
A colourful travelling market is held in the Pangmapha village every Tuesday morning (6.00 - 12.00 o´clock).
