| You can take a public bus or a minibus at the Chiangmai Arcade bus station to get to Pangmapa/Soppong. We can also arrange a transfer by private car or van (see Prices). The trip from Chiangmai to Pangmapa takes about 6 hours by bus, 4 hours by minibus and about 3.5 hours by private car. The bus ticket costs around 90.- Baht, the minibus ticket 250.- Baht.
After arrival at the Pangmapa bus stop you have to walk about 300 m along the main road (Chiangmai direction) to get to Little Eden. If you come from Chiangmai, you can tell the bus driver to let you out at the Little Eden Guesthouse. If you fly from Chiangmai to Mae Hong Son (flight time 25 minutes) we can arrange a transfer from the Mae Hong Son airport to Little Eden or back (see Prices). Alternately you can take a bus/minibus. The bus trip from Mae Hong Son to Soppong takes about 2 hours and costs about 40.- Baht. The minibus fare is 250.- Baht. You can also fly from Chiangmai to Pai with a small Cesna plane (12 persons) and take a public bus from Pai to Soppong. Alternately, we can pick you up at the Pai airport (see Prices). A trip with a private car from Pai to Soppong takes about 45 minutes. Public transportation prices valid in October 2008 |
